Giving, Ricky Martin and Chilaquiles.

Ricky Martin tweeted that his new album, which he recorded in Miami this summer, is due Feb. 1 and titled “MUSIC+SOUL+SEX.” Martin’s album was produced by Desmond Child, who wrote Livin’ La Vida Loca and top charting songs for Kiss, Bon Jovi, Cher and too many others to list. Child, who is half-Cuban, has said in interviews that coming out as a gay man as further unleashed Martin’s creativity. From from buzz I hear, it is worth the pre-order at Amazon.

Also look for Súper Mamá (Supermom) by the Barcelona-based Pinker Tones and Un Regálo Para Mí (A Present For Me) by Ceci Bastida. (Thumbs up for diversity,!)

And because every el buzz should have a food link, Check out Mmm, Me Gusta — a Little Cooking Show. It’s made for the Internet and featured on Hungry Nation. It is done by Claudia, a Southern California native who grew up eating “menudo and pan dulce.” There is great variety on the site and lots of ways to connect with her. Yesterday’s episode was on making chilaquiles.
