Passion, Isabel Allende y Tu
We don’t usually post del almas on Mondays, but we’re recovering from the weekend and we’re looking for fortitude and inspiration for the upcoming Christmas holidays and all the parties, shopping and travel that comes with it.
So, we’re starting the week with Isabel Allende, who writes passionate books and tells great stories. This TED talk is funny and smart. The topic is passion. She tells the stories of strong women, and touches on feminism and Sofia Loren.
“…Heart is what drives us and determines our fate,” she says. “That is what I need for my characters in my books: a passionate heart. I need mavericks, dissidents, adventurers, outsiders and rebels, who ask questions, bend the rules and take risks…”
Watch this video to hear the talented Chilean author of The House of the Spirits, Eva Luna and La Suma de los Dias give a wonderful talk. It’ll make you laugh and think about your own passion.
May it inspire tu alma today.
